Lost

They told me specifically
Right after I turned off of Hagan
I’d see the Circle K with two boarded windows,
(cheapest gas in town),
Then I must make a right turn
At Elm Street then a left.
But there isn’t any Elm Street!
Only a dead end
Full of empty boxes, crates,
and a few homeless people

And I really don’t want to ask
This homeless person
For directions
Because then he’ll ask me for
“Some spare change...dude”
And he knows I have money
Because he knows where I’m heading
And he probably
doesn’t even know
Where “Loose Ladies” is at
Anyways!
